Construction Material Tester

ROI is currently partnering with a well-respected national firm in their search for a Construction Material Tester in Hartford, Connecticut. This opportunity presents a fantastic growth track within the geotechnical engineering industry. An ideal candidate should have an understanding of construction materials testing and engineering principals.
 

  •  Perform soil density testing

  • Collecting concrete samples from active construction sites to be inspected in the testing lab

  • Execute pile driving monitoring on site

  • Write reports based on the testing and inspections being done

  • Using the nuclear troxler gauge to perform testing and inspecting activities

  • Communicate findings to contractors and those on site

Qualifications

  • OSHA 10
  • 1+ years in Construction Materials Testing
  • ACI certificate or ability to obtain one
  • Position requires pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
