ROI has partnered with a commercial fire protection company out of central New Jersey with long-term opportunities all over the state. They are looking to build their team of alarm technicians as they continue growing. They are willing to train and hoping to get candidates on site as soon as possible!
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the field.
-Knowledge of fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, and signaling devices.
-Familiarity with relevant fire codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, local codes).
-Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Certification as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar credential.
-Knowledge of integrated security systems and related technologies.
-Experience with different types of fire alarm systems (e.g., addressable, conventional).
-Familiarity with networking and communication protocols related to fire alarm systems.
